North High School Food Pantry Information

North High School is proud to serve our parents and students with a stocked food pantry, in partnership with Food Bank of Siouxland and Sioux City First Church. 7 out of 10 North High students qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch.

2020-2021—Until further notice: All open food pantries will be PICK UP (lower level by gym, under skywalk). Food can also be given to student to take home that day.
Open during regular school hours—we can send food home with a student or a family member can call for assistance. Students may visit the Caring Closet any time.
Follow Sioux City North on Facebook or Twitter for weekend and afterschool openings. Times are also texted to parents in advance

Food Pantry/Caring Closet Dates for 2020-2021 (note new dates/times)

*The new time so that busses can leave the area before distribution starts. You can NOT park under the skywalk until the busses have left
*Patrons will drive under the skywalk for food to be brought to their vehicle

Friday, January 22nd and Friday, January 29th (3:15-4:00pm)
Friday, February 19th (3:15-4:00pm)
Friday, March 12th and Friday, March 26th (3:15-4:00 pm)
Friday, April 16th and Friday, April 23rd (3:15-4:00 pm)
May—phone school for an appointment to pick up

Note: if school is cancelled or dismissed early, there will be NO food pantry. We will advertise an alternate date.
